How are you going to deal with choices around alcohol in your future?
I am going to be responsible. I will not drink till my parents approve, and I will not touch or go near alcohol till I am of legal age in both Singapore and the US (at least 21). I understand that there are health benefits to consuming alcohol, but as I have been constantly reminded, I am a teenager and I am like all teenagers, prone to making stupid decisions. I have seen so many bars and seen drinking on TV and in movies, and I, as a teenager believe that if I drink that I will be responsible. Right now my brain is perfectly capable of cognitive reason, and I know that this plan would not work out if I actually had a drink.
I think there are 2 ways to look at this: one would be a make stupid decisions and learn from them, or I remember these lessons and I am responsible from the beginning. I hope to god thats its the second option for me, but no guarantee.
