Party drugs are controlled substances that can cause people to become hyper and energetic, which can cause him/her to lose sense of time and fatigue; they will be able to stay up or dance for a several hours without feeling a little bit of exhaustion. The drugs go into the bloodstream and from there cause different euphoric feelings such as dreaminess, tranquility or empathy; causing people to make decisions that they usually would’ve never made. Amyl nitrate was used in the 1970’s and it comes from its packaging in thin glass vials, which were crushed or popped to release the vapors. People use recreational drugs because they are bored, curious, have low self-esteem, want to be risky, want to escape from reality, for relaxation, or to increase energy. Mostly teenagers who are curious and risky take party drugs at such events and parties; however anyone could get their hands on party drugs to enhance their experience at clubs, parties, etc.
