When we watched the IASAS games, I noticed the teamwork between the players. They communicated, and shouted each others names before throwing the ball. This helped them to stay alert about who is open and not. This would also help them to keep control of the ball. If they had not communicated, their teammates may not have been aware that the ball was coming towards them. This would probably come as a surprise, therefore they are much more likely to not catch the ball. This would cause their team to drop the ball, and that would not be beneficial. That is why communication was one of the key parts of playing a team sports, and an important part of being successful. I think that from what I watched of the games, the most successful team was the one that communicated the most.
